Allex & Dustin, Tulum Mexico

Allex and Dustin had one of most beautiful weddings that I have ever seen. We all spent the week in Tulum, eating, drinking and having a great time with friends and family. The wedding ceremony was really meaningful, since Dustin's dad performed the ceremony and Allex and Dustin both wrote their own vows. There was hardly a dry eye on the beach, including the onlookers from the hotel.

The reception had a beautiful view with a table right on the beach. After some great dinner, lots of tequila, and dancing around a fire pit, everyone had an incredible night. Thank you so much to Allex and Dustin for including me in the celebration. Everyone can see that you were made for each other, and I will always remember this wedding as one of my all time favorites!

And of coarse we had to break the record, which thanks to Allex and Dustin's friends and family, is now up to 25 naked butts. Felicidades everyone!

The day after the wedding we had a chance to do a little "trash the dress" shoot. Allex and Dustin were willing to to anything, and I had so much fun trekking around Tulum with them.

On our last stop of the day, we went to a cenote ( a freshwater sinkhole, great for diving) and Allex and Dustin jumped right in and we took some gorgeous underwater pictures.

Chrissy & Corey, Montana

While I was in Montana over the holidays, I ran into a friend from my childhood that I haven't seen for at very long time. She mentioned that she was getting married on New Year's Eve in a ceremony at her family's barn. I had a great week with her family, playing cards, eating taco soup, and catching up on everything that we had missed.
The wedding was a beautiful and intimate occasion, with only immediate family in attendance. And afterwards, Chrissy and Corey were willing to brave the below zero temperatures to get some great pictures outside. Thanks so much for including me in the celebration, I wish you all the best!

Some of the last pictures that we wanted to take were interrupted by a minor blizzard.

Maria & Jeremy

I have been very behind on keeping my blog updated and I have been wanting to post this wedding for a couple of months. Maria and Jeremy were married on Maui in an intimate ceremony on the beach with a reception at the Royal Lahaina Luau. They are such a gorgeous couple and I had a great time working with them.

After the ceremony, we stopped at the Sugar Cane Trainyard for some portraits with the broken down train cars.

This sign was originally meant for a moped, but I love that they are holding it.

Annette & Kihei

I always like to find out how my couples meet, and when I asked Annette and Kihei I heard one of my favorite stories. They had a mutual friend who had a dream about them, and in the dream they were getting married. The friend decided after a dream like that she needed to introduce them. And as they say the rest is history. It was a pleasure to be there in Kula, Maui, for the wedding and here are a few of my favorite images.

The bridal party was a blast, not to mention gorgeous.

I think they were making duck faces.

Right before the plastic silverware fight over the cake.

Mica & Jason

This wedding was my first wedding on Molokai, and I was so excited to finally get an opportunity to go. Mica and Jason held a gorgeous wedding on the beach and the reception at a private estate (where one of the former Top Chef contestants cooked us an amazing meal). Mica may have been one of the most laid back brides I have ever met, I think she only took about 30 seconds to put her mascara and she was ready! Thanks to Mica and Jason for finally giving me a trip to Molokai and to all the other brides who are thinking about going...give me a call I would love to go back.

Kathleen & Dave

I rarely get to go to Lanai, but when I do, I always love the images that come out of it. I finally had a wedding at the Four Season Lodge at Koele, which is one of my favorite places in Hawaii. Kathleen and Dave created a fantastic and intimate wedding for all their guests coming from the mainland. There was a little concern all day about the weather, but right about sunset the gorgeous mountain light peeked through and we made some great images out of it.
